As light softens and deepens, the world around us transforms, blurring the boundaries between earth and sky, time and eternity. This moment of transition speaks to something deeper within us – a recognition of the fleeting nature of existence. Through my work, I strive to capture the subtle shifts of light in that fleeting moment when daylight first breaks, and as it surrenders to the quiet embrace of night. It is in these moments, when the world seems to hold its breath, that I discover the essence of my art.

The play of light, soft gradients, and shifting colours are more than mere visual phenomena; they symbolise a larger emotional experience. I strive to evoke both serenity and tension, revealing how beauty and fragility coexist in a single, fleeting moment. Over several hours, the subtle hues of light are captured and recomposed as a collage. These works directly explore how light illuminates not only the world around us but also the depths within us.

Daylight and twilight, for me, is a metaphor – a symbol of both completion and renewal, where endings coexist with the promise of new beginnings. It is a suspended moment in time where everything feels possible, yet nothing lasts forever. And in that space, we find the sublime.
